1970: MS in Oceanography from University of Washington.
1963-2004: Physical Oceanographer, employed by NOAA (National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration) – NMFS (National Marine Fisheries Service) – AFSC (Alaska Fisheries Science Center), Seattle, WA. 20 years of part time sea duty in North Pacific Ocean and Bering Sea measuring water properties and ocean currents and another 20 years modeling surface ocean currents on the computer which developed OSCURS (Ocean Surface CURrent Simulator) model for the North Pacific Ocean and Bering Sea.
